During the consultation most of the subjects will be discussed with you, but here are a few pointers to remember and take home with you.
· Extensions do look natural when finished but remember they are harder to blend with very short hair as hiding the bonds becomes very difficult and makes your job at home harder.
· Try not to tie your hair back too tightly as this will put unnecessary strain on your hair.
· Looking after extensions to keep them in top condition is a full time job, if you are not prepared to put the effort in to look after them properly do not expect them to behave as they should. Regular brushing is a must, as is regular separating of the bonds to stop them tangling.
· You will experience some shedding and you may lose some extensions but do not worry this is quite normal. The glue that holds the extensions does sometimes fail but this is not the fault of the stylist. You may lose 5 or 30, it all depends on the hair and how you treat them.
